There are no shortage of things to do and places to drink today but Kells is by far the most popular place to be on St. Patrick’s Day in Portland.

Kells Irish Pub is the is rated as the #1 Irish restaurant and pub in the nation and has been serving the NW for 25 years. Kells Irish Fesitival will be going on of course and it lasts through the 19th, prepare your liver. Kells puts on a long list of the bands and activities with something for most anyone.

Over 50 breweries and brewpub statewide will open their doors to beer lovers for the 3rd Annual Zwickelmania.  It’s a free statewide event put on by the Oregon Brewers Guild that gives the beer community a chance to to tour, taste, and meet the brewers.

Saturday, February 19th, 11- 4pm

On January 14th Pelican Brewery released its Angler’s Amber Ale, which will be available on draft and in bottles at the Pelican as well as bottled at select locations in the Portland area.  Angler’s Amber Features a toasted malt profile, a floral yet spicy Sterling hop character and a clean, snappy finish.
